What is the problem?
Analog kitchen timers are simple and easy to use which last for almost decades for it to break or malfunction. But most kitchen timers do not fit into your kitchen, so you would always be hiding it when you're not using it.
It all started from questioning,
"Why can't a kitchen timer be a design element of your kitchen so you actually want to display it?", and "Why not have different interactions with the users rather than just twisting it"
The roll and set Walnut Kitchen Timer
The roll and set walnut kitchen timer gives a new interaction of timing. By rolling the timer, not only does it give playfulness to it (just like the wind and let go toy cars), it also converts time into length. Once you get used to it, you would know that baking a pie would require a 5inch roll.
